Why donate?

Only a small portion of the repertoire of the Galax Quartet comes from the Baroque and Classical repertoire. The greater part of our repertoire comes from commissions from living composers.

To fulfill these commissions, we are dependent on financial contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations.

The Galax Quartet has non-profit status courtesy of our fiscal sponsor, the San Francisco Early Music Society (SFEMS). If you wish to support any project of the Galax Quartet with a tax deductible financial contribution, you may do so with a check made out to the San Francisco Early Music Society. (Indicate that it be re-directed to the Galax Quartet; there will be a small fee which SFEMS extracts in return for serving as our umbrella organization.)
